What to do first, in the order that makes you money.
Agency roles
Commercial vacancies posted by competing agencies. Each one hides a real employer. The trace reads every clue in the advert and searches for the same role posted direct. It will not name a company it cannot evidence.
How the trace decides
Agencies
Every agency you're seeing adverts from, with the end clients you've traced back to each one grouped underneath it — who they're placing for, worked out from the adverts themselves.
Hot — need contact
Every one of these needs a name before it can go anywhere. Find the hiring manager, press + Contact on the card and save it — the lead moves itself to Ready to send, even before you have an email or number for them.
Ready to send
Contact identified and on file. These are the ones to put a candidate in front of today.
Won clients
Agency leads that converted into a client. Press Converted / Won! on any identified role to add it here.
Working with the business
The end client behind an agency advert is identified and you are dealing with them directly now, not the agency that hid them.
Lead sent
Agency-posted roles you have already put candidates or an approach to, whether or not the end client was identified.
Not interested in role
Agency leads you looked at and decided not to pursue — a bad fit, not your patch, or just not worth the time. Parked here rather than lost.
Can't work with
Leads you're not taking forward with this employer — PSL, a negative response, an untenable ask, or something else you noted at the time.
Can't identify
Agency adverts where the end client could not be established. Parked rather than deleted — a later advert from the same agency sometimes gives it away.
Client map
Agencies working the patch, and any end client the trace has identified behind one of their adverts. Agencies themselves show n/a — they are competitors, not prospects.
